     Last week the adjudicated rapist and convicted felon who sits in the white house and pretends to be our president issued an executive order targeting homeless individuals and it threatens to incarcerate or otherwise institutionalize them against their will using the legal mechanisms of civil commitment.  This is just the start of targeting the poor and disenfranchised and it is not going to stop with just targeting homeless people.  Soon it will be used to target anyone that the adjudicated rapist thinks of as an enemy, and that is a lot of people. 

     Our democracy is in great danger right now and I for one am worried about people not knowing the true threats until it is too late.  There is a lot of people who think we have already crossed the line to autocracy.  The illegal gerrymander being debated right now in Texas is just one way they are trying to steal future elections and stay in power despite the will of the voters.  They cannot win elections based on their terribly unpopular policies of stealing from the poor to give to the rich so instead they will take power by any illegal means as long as they are not held accountable. 

     One good thing is that dictatorships never last too long, but the bad thing is that it is a lot of suffering and death before they are defeated.  Make no mistake about it, Donald John Trump is not only a rapist, felon and fraud, he is also a domestic terrorist who led a violent attack on our country once to stay in power and now he is finishing what he started and with the help of the bad actors in Congress he is very close to turning our representative democracy into a plutocratic nightmare with far more power than dictators like Vladimir Putin. 

     That is why I hate it when people compare Trump to Hitler.  He is far worse, because he has a following that is just as corrupted and full of hate as he is and he has far more power than Hitler did.  This is going to be far worse than the Holocaust and it is already starting.  I just hope that soon he is held accountable and the cult that he built falls apart.  They are empty people so without their god-king they will just crawl back into their disgusting holes and we won’t hear from them again until the next racist cult leader rises, but hopefully we as a society have learned something by then and can shut down the next one before he does as much damage as this piece of garbage has done to our country.

     We are in great danger as long as Trump is able to get away with the treason he is committing against our democracy.  Let’s hope that him and all his pedophile friends are where they belong soon.
